Chichester & Bosham Walk
Chichester is a vibrant lively city with an excellent range of restaurants and shops. We are here for the morning moving on to Bosham after lunch. Bosham Walk Art & Craft Centre is situated in the picturesque village of Old Bosham in West Sussex, England. The village itself is a small fishing and sailing village one of the creeks of Chichester Harbour; it has a quaint Old Saxon church and still retains its old Quay and Watermill. The Craft Centre has 17 small shops of individual crafts on two floors. The ground floor is similar to an old style-shopping street with flag stone floors, there are olde world wooden beams and the shops are finished in keeping with the surroundings. On this floor also, are glass cabinets with many more interesting crafts displayed. There are many more shops on the first floor and a light and airy gallery with a variety of paintings by local artists. Many of the shops are working studios where the artists and crafts people are happy to discuss what they are making. The whole Walk is under one roof in a building which was originally, many years ago a boathouse.

Combined Visit Buckingham Palace & Clarence House
For the first time ever at the Summer opening of Buckingham Palace, visitors will be able to experience the spectacle of the Ballroom set up for a State Banquet. The horseshoe-shaped table traditionally used on such occasions will be dressed with a silver-gilt from the magnificent Grand Service, first used to celebrate the birthday of George III in 1811. Lavish buffet arrangements of jewelled cups, ivory tankards and chased dish’s, sconce’s, shields and basins will be arranged along each side of the room. We then enjoy free time in Covent Garden. Our second visit today is to Clarence House. The arrangement of the rooms and the groupings of their contents remain much as they were in Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother’s time, with important works from Her Majesty’s famous collection of art in their former positions.
