New Forest Autumn Tints

Discover the unique character and beauty of the New Forest at very colourful time of the year. Coffee stop at Guildford cathedral, then a pleasant journey through rural Hampshire to Hythe on Southampton Water for a lunch stop. Tour through the New Forest via Beaulieu and Brockhurst then on to the lovely Hilliers arboretum near Romsey for a stroll, with time to visit the on site café and garden centre. A Taste of Suffolk in Autumn with Sausage & Mash at Jimmy’s Farm

We make our coffee stop in Colchester. Jimmy’s Farm is our lunchtime venue after an exclusive guided tour around the farm and behind the scenes. We will enjoy a sausage and mash lunch with lashings of onion gravy and a cup of tea or coffee. After lunch there will then be an opportunity to wander the farm, browse in the farm shop & butchery. n the afternoon we drop back into Constable Country to enjoy the autumn colours stopping at Flatford Mill where you can visit the scene of The Haywain and buy tea.

Windsor Castle

We spend some time in Windsor for shopping and lunch before our visit to Windsor Castle, which offers an extraordinarily rich and varied afternoon, all on one site. The magnificent State Apartments are lavishly furnished with world-famous works of art, from paintings by Holbein, Rubens and Van Dyke to a masterpiece in miniature-Queen Mary’s Doll’s House. A special exhibition in the Castle’s Drawings Gallery will celebrate the sixtieth birthday of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales in 2008. The display brings together photographs, books and charming mementoes from the Royal Collection, and a number of items from His Royal Highness’s personal archive.
The choice of objects reflects many of The Prince’s interests, especially music, theatre and the arts, and will include a small group of watercolours painted by His Royal Highness.Your admission to Windsor Castle also includes St George’s Chapel, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in the country.
