Enjoy an interesting and festive day out in the beautiful Cotswolds, tour through some wonderful countryside with stops in three of the areas of interesting historic towns. Here you will be able to shop for unusual Christmas gifts and find that elusive item you’ve been longsearching for, and maybe visit a craft fair – visit Burford (Coffee stop), Cirencester (Lunch stop) and Stow-on-the-Wold (our afternoon stop). The fascinating Geffrye Museum in Shoreditch, East London is set in the former almshouses of the Ironmongers Company and specialises in English domestic interiors. Celebrate 400 years of seasonal traditions in English homes as you tour the Geffrye’s12 period rooms – providing a magical glimpse of Christmas past. Your guide will tell you all about the meanings and origins of some of our favourite Christmas customs and traditions. Our lunch break will be in Covent Garden and we make an afternoon visit to the Geffrye Museum with Tea & Mince pies in the restaurant.
