Tuesday: On our first day we will visit the once ecclesiastical capital of Cornwall, built on a hillside overlooking the Carmel Estuary. Padstow has many medieval buildings including the 16th Century Court House of Sir Walter Raleigh. After lunch we then enjoy a coastal tour back to spend a short time in Newquay before we return to our hotel.

Wednesday: We leave our hotel today to enjoy a visit to Cornwall’s most famous garden – The Eden Project – also Cornwall’s most popular attraction. After spending time experiencing the sights and smells of the rainforests in the world’s largest greenhouse we can enjoy the open air 30 acres of sunflowers and other plants. With lots of choice for food and drinks, we stay for lunch then onto Fovey for our afternoon, with its narrow streets, a picturesque harbour and lots of tea rooms to enjoy a famous Cornish cream tea.

Thursday: Our excursion takes us to Truro, the Cathedral City and Cornwall’s commercial and administrative centre. With excellent pedestrianised shopping, it makes an ideal morning stop. For our lunch and afternoon visit we call at Falmouth. Falomouth is the ‘Jewel of the English Riviera’ offering picturesque beaches, quaint streets and alleyways of the old town. After our enjoyable stay we journey home to our hotel for our last evening together.

Friday: Sadly we leave behind the delights of Cornwall and make our way back home, arriving back home early evening.
