ANOTHER YEAR!

And a changing year for Plan-it Travel. We have a new director, Mr Graham Tkaczyk. Graham has spent many years involved in the coaching industry and has come with some firm ideas to take us into 2012.

Plan-It Travel has had a good working relationship with Jewels Tours of Gravesend. They will now be picking up in and around Orpington; give them a ring on 01474 334434 for their 2012 Holiday Brochure; you will not be disappointed with a holiday booked with Jewels. Plan-It Travel will continue to do the Thursford Christmas Spectacular Weekends, a great favourite with many of our customers.

As Plan-It Travel goes into 2012 as a new company, we will be concentrating on our Private Hire and extensive Day Excursion Programme. We hope you enjoy what we have on offer for you this year, we have listened to your comments made during the year and hopefully have come up with something for everyone!

A real miss this year will be Ian, our Fountain of Knowledge, he has supported the company superbly with his willingness to go the extra mile and although he has gone back to his former life as an accountant he assures us he will be making the odd cameo appearance. I will be going out on some excursions next year so those of you who have travelled with us for many years know that means tea/coffee and biscuits are usually served and I am really looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting some new ones.

Additions to the Plan-it Travel Coach Fleet

An executive 22 seat Toyota Optimo has now joined the fleet. This coach is fully air conditioned and features CD/DVD, fully reclining seats with 3-point seat belts, individual lighting, full carpeting, microphone and armrests.

Planit Travel Limited is also restoring a 1957 AEC Harrington coach which was new to Maidstone & District Motor Services Limited. This is a 37 seat touring coach which was used on extended tours throughout the UK and Ireland during the late 1950’s and 1960’s and will be available for private hire and heritage tours.
The fleet colours will be changed to a base metallic silver with a revised Planit Travel logo and style of sign – writing.

There are also plans to standardise the Setra and Scania Irizar PB coaches to ensure a consistency in the standard of our coaches which our customers can expect on excursions and private hires.
